Creativity at Fellowship Church on Easter Sunday

I had the privilege of visiting Fellowship Church (FellowshipChurch.com) in Grapevine (Texas) this morning to experience Easter in a creative way. What I like about Fellowship Church is that they know that Easter should be a celebration! He is risen! He is risen, indeed! Ed Young met my expectations with a creative presentation of salvation by faith in Christ alone. The worship and arts team blew me away with beautiful worship that was contagious. Did you experience that at your church on Easter Sunday? If not, pray for God to give your church not only a passion for God’s grace and truth, but a vision for his creativity expressed through His people, the church!

How can your church “exercise” creativity? Take it from the SportsPastor: Sports Outreach Ministry is a creative means to build relationships with those who do not know Christ in your community. Through the credibility of those relationships comes the authentic opportunity to live the gospel, share the gospel, and invite people to church. But here is the catch…I hope your church home is a place you want to invite people. I pray that your church is a place where the Bible is clearly preached and where God is magnified in selfless worship. And I pray that those expressions of absolute truth and awesome praise are done so in creative ways to honor a creative God. He deserves it! Happy Easter!
